Necklace; Beaded necklace; from the collection of Captain Richard C. Mears (1829-1899); necklace of beads, most likely plastic, graduated in size from small near the clasp to large towards the bottom; beads have been painted a pearlescent color, which is now beginning to flake off; two beads are almost entirely stripped of color; necklace stays shut through aid of a box clasp.
