Necklace; Grey beaded necklace; from the collection of Captain Richard C. Mears (1829-1899); beaded necklace, consisting of 22 large grey, iridescent beads, with 2 smaller ones near the clasp; beads are strung on a cord which is knotted in between each bead so they are spaced out from eachother; the necklace is closed by a decorated, oval shaped box clasp.
