Beads; Two ceramic beads; from the collection of Captain Richard C. Mears (1829-1899); two beads, made of clay and glazed, strung together by blue string; patterns resembling traditional Greco-Roman pottery; around center of each bead are written words; one bead reads "SERVABO FIDEM" (which translates to "I shall keep the faith", and is the motto of the 33rd Field Artillery Regiment of the U.S. Army); the second bead reads "CVPIO BENVM".
