8x10 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on December 8, 1931. Image is an overview taken from probably the roof of a tall building looking out over the Todd Yacht Basin and Ship Yard Corporation located in Brooklyn, New York with a view of mostly steam yachts in winter storage. Two of the vessels have been identified as the steam yacht NOURMAHAL and the five masted barkentine BUCCANEER. NOURMAHAL, 3rd vessel of that name was owned by Vincent Astor starting in 1928. NOURMAHAL was a 263'3" motor yacht built in 1928. There is also a barge in the drydock area with the title, "Mansfield McLaine-Line".
