7x5 glass negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the time of the Bermuda Race in 1928. Image of the yawl RUGOSA II undersail, starboard bow/beam view with most of deck visible and an unidentified sloop to the far left edge of the negative. RUGOSA II was a 59' New York 40' Class yawl designed by Nathanael G. Herreshoff and built by Herreshoff Manufacturing of Bristol, Rhode Island in 1926. Her first owner was Russell Grinnell of Exeter, Rhode Island. Typed neg. sleeve info.: "28787-F". Handwritten: "Rugosa II / Bermuda Race 1928 / Box 2103".
