Platter; Gilbert Transportation Company platter; large, white, oval platter, made of porcelain; around rim on front are two thin blue lines; printed between these lines at the "top" of the platter is "Gilbert Trans. Co./ Mystic/ Conn."; on the bottom of the back of the platter, printed in blue, but very blurry reads "GREENWOOD CHINA/ MADE FOR P/ J McD & S Co./ BOSTON."; stamped into the porcelain (faintly) on back is "GREENWOOD CHINA/ TRENTON, N.J.".
