Tooth; Sperm whale tooth; from the collection of George Elliott (1810-1862); tooth of a sperm whale; narrows towards tip; ridged, hollow near base, though seems to become more solid towards tip; came in burlap bag (2007.12.24) with other teeth and tusks.
