Tooth; Section of tooth; from the collection of George Elliott (1810-1862); section of a sperm whale tooth (though might possibly be a section of a tusk), ridges on the outside, and very hollow at one end, while becoming noticeably more solid towards the other end; more solid end also shows a much cleaner cutting job than the more hollow end; came in burlap bag (2007.12.24) with other teeth and tusks.
