4x5 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons June 5, 1960 during the time of a New York Yacht Club race start. Image of ANITRA, in the foreground on the left, undersail, port beam view and other vessels in the background to the right. ANITRA was a 69'2" 12 meter sloop when first built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Lemwerder, Germany from designs by Burgess, Rigg & Morgan, Inc. in 1928. An auxiliary gasoline engine was added in 1935 and she was altered to an auxiliary yawl in 1958. Her owner in 1960 was S. Davis Robins. Other vessels in the background are: GESTURE, #102 a cutter, NIMROD V, #77 a cutter, BACCARAT, #220 a 51'2" yawl, CARINA, #315 a 48' yawl and GRAY LADY, #376 a 56' yawl.
