Image of GUINEVERE, the second of that name, underway on the Thames River, New London, Connecticut here to see the Harvard-Yale Races being held that day. GUINEVERE is under power, showing a starboard quarter view, dressed, photographed from an elevated view looking down with a good view of the deck and some of the people on board. GUINEVERE(2nd), was a three-masted 195' auxiliary schooner built in 1921 by Lawley & Son Corporation of Neponset, Massachusetts from designs by A. Loring Swasey. She was the second vessel of same name owned by Edgar Palmer starting in 1921. Typed neg. sleeve info.: "9996-F / 6/22/23 / New London Races / Guinevere". Handwritten: "Edgar Palmer-N.Y. / Box 919".
