Elevated view photographed from a high riverbank looking down at BLACK ARROW underway, sails furled, port quarter view. BLACK ARROW II was a 49' auxiliary schooner built by Israel Snow, Jr. of Newcastle, Maine from designs by S.S. Crocker, Jr. in 1926. Her original name was IOLE II. Her owner in 1935 was John B.
