35mm slide photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in February of 1977. Image is port quarter view of RUNNING TIDE OF Alexandria, Virginia undersail, heeled over on a starboard tack with rails awash, mainsail reaching and partial view of the red spinnaker. RUNNING TIDE, sail #4444, was an ocean racer that participated in many long distance races in the 1970's. She was a 60'6" auxiliary sloop built in 1969 by Huisman of Vollenhove, Netherlands from designs by Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. Mount info. stamped: "(red) +26 / FEB 77 N6" and in mount: "MADE IN U.S.A.". Manufacturer's info.: "Kodachrome SLIDE + / PROCESSED BY KODAK". Stamped: "PHOTOGRAPH BY STANLEY ROSENFELD".
