BETTY JANE was a 40'9" Bermuda 40 auxiliary sloop, sail #4820, built by Henry R. Hinckley & Company of Manset, Maine in the 1970's. Stamped on surface of mount: "19/ OCT 73 N6 / MADE IN U.S.A.". Photographers stamp: "[PHOTOG]RAPH BY STANLEY ROSENFELD" and circled in pencil the number, "478". Stamped on verso: "Kodachrome TRANSPARENCY / PROCESSED BY KODAK".
