Image of WINDIGO, #354, on a starboard tack reaching with a medium blue and red spinnaker, large white jib dragging in the water, main, light blue mizzen staysail and white mizzen set. View from leeward stern . WINDIGO was a 73' auxiliary yawl, sail #354, built in 1956 by Henry R. Hinckley of Southwest Harbor, Maine from designs by Sparkman & Stephens. Originally named VENTURER, she was renamed in 1961 as NORTHERN LIGHT, then AUDACIOUS in 1964, WINDIGO II in 1968 and WINDIGO in 1974. Mount info. stamped in black, "13 JUN 80N 12". Hand stamped in blue: "[PHOTOGRAPH] BY STANLEY ROSENFELD". Manufacturer's stamp in yellow, "MADE IN U.S.A.
