ENTERPRISE, #US27, was a 67' twelve meter sloop launched January, 1977 by Minneford Yacht Yard of City Island, New York and designed by Olin Stephens. She was the American contender and raced in the 1977 and 1980 America's Cup trials. Lowell North was her skipper in 1977 and several crew members in 1977 were: Halsey Herreshoff and John Marshall.
