7x5 safety negative by Morris Rosenfeld, 1930. Image is a port beam view of yawl DORADE, underway on a starboard tack towing her dingy. Her mizzen staysail is set. DORADE is pictured here with her bowsprit which she loses (rerigged) prior to the Transatlantic Race in 1931. There is a woman at the tiller with a man seated to her right. A man is seated at her bow and another man is standing behind her mizzen sail. DORADE was designed by Olin Stephens and built at Minneford Yacht Yard on City Island, 1930.
