Steel marlin spike made by Tim Clark for partner Josephine "Joee" Patterson and used by Patterson while a crew member on the 38th Voyage of the CHARLES W. MORGAN. Polypropylene rope has been threaded through a hole bored into the wider end of the spike and is attached to a hardware clasp. Overall good condition; surface discoloration from use. Overall: 8 1/4 x 1 x 1 in.
