'Flat Stanley"

Drawing on canvas

Colored drawing done on canvas of the character "Flat Stanley" wearing a 38th Voyage patch; part of the "Flat Stanley Project" which promotes child literacy. During the voyage, Flat Stanley was brought along and photographed which were then added to a journal documenting its travels. Drawing on canvas done with fabric markers; CWM patch glued to the canvas on Flat Stanley's shirt. Metal grommet in upper left corner. See journal created for Flat Stanley 2015.56.2. Overall good condition; two black marker spots on the body (bottom of right pant leg and bottom right of shirt), edges frayed. Overall: 15 3/4 x 11 1/2 in.
