5x7 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on August 26, 1945, showing the start of the International Star Class Race. Image shows multiple Star Class sloops, including a port view of Star Class #1876, Star Class #1428, Star Class #1150, Star Class #2112, Star Class #626, and Star Class #2125 (sail numbers only, not hull numbers) on a starboard tack. Note that due to the war, hulls were provided by the host clubs and were drawn by lot daily. Information stamped on the original negative sleeve: "112477F / [Box] 4870" and written: "8/26/45 / Start Intnl Star Class / Star 1876".
