To her starboard is catapult ship SWABENLAND with seaplanes ZEPHIR and AEOLUS on deck. In Mannhasset Bay area of Long Island Sound, September 1936, she conducted test flights of flying boats AEOLUS and ZEPHIR for mail service. In the background is four masted schooner ANNA R.
