4X5 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons at New London, 7 21,1941 during the sea trial competition for awarding contracts to build the US Navy fleet of PT boats. This image is of the Higgin's boat competing in the trials. It is a medium distance shot of the boat underway from the starboard beam side. Note the absence of most of the required ordanance on future PT boats as a number of the boats in the competition were not fully outfitted by the time of the event.
