Approximately 77 feet in total length and constructed of three braided strands of plant fibers (probably coconut husk). Tied together with an approximately 2-foot length of twisted plant fiber rope. The topmost section of a cotton inventory tag is attached. Date and location unknown, but similar rope for fishing and lashing has been found across the Pacific throughout prehistory to the present. Overall: 4 1/4 x 16 x 3 1/4 in.
