2 1/4 x 3 1/8 in. gelatin silver print made from a negative October, 1906. Image is a port view of the cutter AGLAIA at anchor with one person standing on the boom by topping lift, possibly adjusting the canopy, and a second person seated on the bowsprit. MAUD, later known as AGLAIA, was a 52' cutter built by Wood Brothers of Boston, Massachusetts from designs by R.M Wood in 1886. Pencil note upper right reads, "404 / Aglaia". Pencil note on back reads, "Aglaia / Oct '06". Paper clip rust mark at top center. Object from collection of material related to New York yacht broker Frank Bowne Jones.
