Passengers "potato racing" on the deck of the CARPATHIA. Players collected potatoes from the deck and brought them back to the buckets visible behind them. There is a large crowd of people watching. The ship's dark funnel and two lifeboats are visible. The player facing the camera seems to be the man who has been identified as Miles Forwood in other photos. From an album of photos from a 1908 voyage to the Mediterranean.
