Photograph of the bow of the MORRO CASTLE wreck after it ran aground at Asbury Park. A group of people has walked out on the rocks to see it. The ship is still smoking, and some of the damage is visible at the right of the photograph, though the ship's name is clearly visible as are the draft measurements above the waterline. The photo is undated but was probably taken on September 8 or 9, 1934, since the wreck is still visibly burning.
