An album of photographs, possibly from someone's vacation in 1934. On one side are three images of the MORRO CASTLE grounded off the beach at Asbury Park, NJ. The top and bottom photograph are both commercial photographs by Stickeler Photo, while the center one might be their own photograph. The center one was certainly taken later than the top photograph; based on the condition of the ship's name on the bow in each photo. The back of the album page has photographs from elsewhere. The top left photograph is of a house that is captioned "Southampton L.I.," while the bottom photograph is also on Long Island and is captioned "Home on left where 'Home Sweet Home' was written." This is a reference to a historic salt-box house in East Hampton, now known as the Home Sweet Home Museum because of its supposed (but now disproven) connection to the song's author John Howard Payne. On the upper right is a picture of an outhouse, with a joking caption "Hallowed but not celebrated in song-- 'Mainstay,' South Bristol."
