Invitation card for a balloon dance, a competition where couples danced with a balloon held between them, and were disqualified if they dropped or popped their balloon. On the back, in pencil, is written "Morro Castle." The dance was held in the ship's Deck Ball Room, a glassed-in space much loved by passengers on the ship. There is no date on the invitation, but the MORRO CASTLE was in service from 1930 to 1934.
