Pencil or graphite drawing by Steve Callahan; shows Callahan reading on the deck of Napoleon Solo. Drawing depicts the Napoleon Solo cutting through waves with the wind catching the jibs, which has the number 57 etched two times in each jib. Backside of the drawing has the matching caption: "Chapter II page 25: 'Solo smoothly cut westward with twin jibs spread from her bow like albatross wings.'" The caption is edited and crossed out multiple times with pencil, with a note in the corner reading "Chapter opener: no caption" outlined in a box. A note written on the bottom right corner of the backside: "S.P.CALLAHAN FEB. 1984 FOR A MAN ALONE". Overall: 14 x 11 in.
