Color printed box (.a) titled “Moby Dick / Scrimshaw / the American Whaler’s folk art originated by sailors etching scenes on whale’s teeth and bone”. Photograph demonstrates the making process and the finished craft. Box includes instructions (.b), 3-piece molded styrene “whale’s tooth” (.c), bag of plaster powder (.d), PEQUOD ship design on transfer paper (.e), 5 pieces of sandpaper (.f), etching tool (.g), paintbrush (.h), small bottle of adhesive (.i), black stain (.j), brown stain (.k), and wax (.l).
