Hatband embroidered with company flag for Società Italia di Navigazione which combines St George's Cross of Genoa on the left and a white halberd on a red background to represent the arms of Trieste on the right (flag reversed for leftside embroidery); “MICHELANGELO” embroidered between the flags. Overall fair condition; silk has faded, edges frayed, ribbon may need ironing to remove creases from being tied. Overall: 37 3/4 x 7/8 in.
