Large metal fishing hook with cotton line embedded in cork stopper; part of fishing kit made for the Special Service Division of the United States Army by Ashaway Line & Twine Mfg. Co., circa 1943. Hook painted black; fishing line wrapped around the length of the hook and cork stopper. Overall fair condition; cork has dried and should not be removed from tube at risk of breakage. Overall: 7 1/2 x 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 in.
