Hand dip fishing net donated with fishing kit made for the Special Service Division of the United States Army by Ashaway Line & Twine Mfg. Co., circa 1943. Wooden handle with metal frame and woven fiber bag; frame closed bent at the neck and twisted down towards the bottom of the handle. Mesh bag appears square due to the frame being closed and bent. Overall fair condition; frame closed and bent, metal has oxidized and rusted in places. Overall: 8 x 12 x 1 in.
