SARACEN, #25, 30' Class sloop, was designed by Edward Burgess and built in 1889. Printed at lower left in white: "2425 SARACEN". Image is possibly from a negative from J.S. Johnston, see object #1946.479.12 where on the reverse is written in ink, "Saracen 30-foot class / Designed by Burgess for W.P. Fowle / LOA 38-0, 10-0, 7-3/ 30-0".
