Long oval ceramic platter from yacht WANDERER; glazed white ceramic fish platter; on top of center front "Wanderer" painted in green with gold shadow, in an arched shape around an anchor with rope fragment; the anchor is painted black with grey highlights with brown 'natural' colored rope and top strip; the platter is irregular in shape and has small bumps along parts of the surface. Platter used on the vessel "Wanderer"; vessel built for and owned by John D. Johnson; the captain and designer of the vessel was Capt. Thomas Brewster Hawkins (1819-1901).
