Most likely Frederick Plummer Bliss, the son of New Bedford cabinetmater and whaleman Isaac Bliss; photograph most likely taked around November 1858 when Frederick was issued a Seaman's Protection Paper at New Bedford and shipped as a green hand in the bark AFTON.
