Safety negative by Carleton Mitchell; view of Kalmar Castle in the background across a body of water, from a dock area; in the Smaland region of southern Sweden, from across the water on a grass beach area; on Kalmar Sound, Sweden; the oldest parts of the castle date to the eleventh century, and it became the center of the Kalmar Union in 1397, when a treaty was signed here uniting Denmark, Norway and Sweden; restored in the nineteenth century; included with the views of a cruise to the Baltic by Carleton Mitchell on board yawl yacht CARIBBEE and William T.
