Pages of scrapbook secured together by cloth bound covers with adjustable metal fasteners on left edge; postcard featuring painting of the CWM adhered to the center of the cover, illegible artist's signature in red in the lower right corner. 'Property of William H. Tripp' written along the upper left edge of the interior cover; manufacturing sticker for the album placed on the lower left corner of interior cover, book manufactured in New Bedford, MA by Charles J. Lincoln. Scrapbook includes detailed New Bedford newspaper articles and photos, beginning 1922; letters to William Tripp, signed by Col Greene; details of dedication ceremony, 1926; article on Capt. George Fred Tilton; articles on 1929 and 1930 whaleboat races; Sylvia brothers and coopering; 1939 article on Mystic plans for CWM, with photos; death of Cpt.
