Baleen busk with round top, squared bottom, decorated along border with geometric pattern. Engraved designs, top to bottom: starboard view of full rigged ship; cathedral church; 5 point star within star within star; floral arrangement in vase; heart with star inside; stern view of ship with all studdingsails set; initials "A. H./ S. M. B."; rosette; leaf pattern. Several gashes in busk. Faintly etched on reverse: "A presant (sic) from my husband. Charlotte M. Harris . . . (illegible)". This is most likely the work of Albert Harris, who also etched busk 1939.886.
