Large, heavy and intricate pie crimper, engraved ivory with inlaid baleen bands. Serpentine handle with two curved snakes at end. Snakes' necks are joined to handle by "collars". Eyes and nostrils inlaid. Fluted wheel with cut-out hearts and triangles, six-pointed star in center. Just behind wheel, mounted on wooden, flat square, is three-tined fork (with break repaired). On same appendage, octagonal press with 21 pyramidal points in rows. Split visible on underside of handle.
