White paper label on front of bottle reads, in black print: "DR. J. MILLER'S/ SOOTHING & HEALING/ Balsam,/ or/ NATURE'S ASSISTANT/ THE BEST MEDICINE IN THE WORLD/ FOR INTERNAL/ AND/ EXTERNAL/ COMPLAINTS./ The Proprietor would call the attention of the reader to a careful perusal of the Circular./ Price, 50 Cents a Bottle./ J. MILLER & SONS,/ PROPRIETORS,/ PROVIDENCE, R.I./ Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1867, by J.
