Baleen ditty box, round, with wood lid and base. Sides of lid decorated with buildings, rosettes, a 5-point star, hearts, and floral designs. Box decorated with a large mansion, a commercial building with shop sign(?), a church, a full-rigged ship, a brigantine and hermaphordite brig. Box has elaborate seam design with heart shaped cutouts. Fastened with copper, brass, and iron nails.
