Ivory-headed wooden cane with brass ferrule and gold ring below head inscribed U.S. FRIGATE CONSTITUTION. Belonged to "JAMES ANDEM(?) BOSTON" a deck officer of that vessel whose name is carved on head. Pierced at top. Stock of cane is cracked.
