Carved ivory figure of a polar bear sitting on a rounded, black platform. Head is slightly tilted upward; hands are together in front of stomach. Green felt lined bottom surface. The figure represents one of two black bishop pieces (2013.88.11-12) in a 32-piece chess set (2013.88.1-32).
