Whalebone cane with ivory handle resembling hand holding piece of wood. Staff is fluted with braided ring part way down, around it. At base of wrist is a wide band suggesting a cuff. Knuckles are squared and straight across. Whatever is held in the hand is black but smooth and rounded.
