Whalebone cane with ivory handle carved in shape of 4 strand turk's head. "C. BAYLEY" is done in tiny nails and it encircles the handle. Adjoining this are 4 columns which are separated from the stock by a dark bone inset. The stock is carved with 4 different motifs in the following order: cross-hatching, separated by a rope carving, raised spiraling separated by an ivory rope carved inset, and reeding separated from the plain last section by 2 raised bands.
