tea caddy

Tea caddy, wood with ivory, baleen(?) and mother-of-pearl inlay. Box tapers to bottom, back and front both with 2 interlacing half circle lines of ivory, mother-of-pearl diamond inlay at crossings, sides (right badly damaged) have ivory strips from corners meeting at center square. Mother-of-pearl heart-shaped inlay at lock plate, mostly missing, edge of lid has diamond ivory inlays, lid with inlaid ivory strips from corners meeting at raised rectangle in center, baleen(?) and ivory star in center with mother-of-pearl rosette in center. Three lead-lined compartments inside, each with wood lid with turned ivory knob in center.
